HERE!
I was here! Am I here ?
My new work is about presence. As it was told I try to use more then just visible. So as well here we can see something but that is not all the experience! Behind your head there's a speaker
and you can here someone's steps. It is a next work for Presence.
MEAT
Let's meet this :
We
are what we eat, right?! Do we have to eat humans to be human? This
short video came from the past or it takes place in the future? Is this
a post apocalyptic view of a ancient culture of robots?
In opinion this is our history. The past, the present and our future.
(re)Accidental meeting
I just (re)post this image because I visited earlier my page. Sometimes I have to look back and wonder, OMG What have I done?
So I visited my blog and now I found how evident all the steps I've done to be here. Of course it's a cliché but to see, all thees paintings, drawings, installations and sculptures I can see that just in couple of years how much we can change and we forgot that how much we will change! - and still there remains an evidence, a link between all the works and that's what I am.
Now days I'm more into the human body then ever I was. To work with it but without it, it's quite tricky so I have to know in details.
So, today I found this painting and as I have no more so it was forgotten. As I see today the image I can't really stop thinking about a choreography or an actual act of meeting. There's a real presence in this picture.
I'd like to do here a short cut because in other way it will take to much place, so...
- I can imagine there's no air between them, it escaped.
- There's no light, almost pitch dark.
- There a pressure, it comes from a mystic gravity which pull two people together.
- Finally there's the heat, my recent interest, which has to be doubled between two corps.
"Today I can't escape from the idea, I have to work with all of this and don't stop here to paint but move and give moves to other; be visible and use the invisible to give more and more (complex) feeling and experience to others! Finally we have 5 senses!!!"
It's not a sexual picture, I've received this critic it is something more I guess.
(If you have comments on it, do not hesitate!)

Presence or 36°C
I was thinking about the continuation the projects around the Presence. I have the reason I suppose because I have now several works with the question of the presence.
It is something really important for me, to understand better what make us living or being creatures?
After, what is above our senses or what is the sixth sens which is a miracle or "just" a hidden capacity to use all the five to be sensible? I think all our senses are based on physical contact. - Material's meeting. So, if I'm right, all based on touch.
As I'm always interest by human I wonder how can we feel each other? Of course I won't invent a new machine which creates a new sens, this is a big step for the science as well. As I saw on my favorite site called TED.COM, so between the ted talks, Donald Hoffman scientist said
...and finally, I publish a new project: 36°C
Still about presence and senses. I can hardly show you the result because it's entirely invisible. Based on the experience when you touch a surface what was touched by someone not long ago but for long enough to heat it to his or her temperature. Around 36°C *.
So, with no explication you can imagine the installation with all the pieces that I've done with a white wall and on it ( or better say behind it) there's a heated spot in a form of my palm. You have to touch it to understand. Time's passing and the spot will be visible by the dirty/stained by the visitor's hands and presence.

- The light touches your eyes and you can see. (I'm quite up to date how is happening but to keep it simple please...)
- The small molecules in the air touches your nose and you smell things,
- the food on your tongue,
- the resonance of the air reach your ears
- and finally you fell with your skin.
As I'm always interest by human I wonder how can we feel each other? Of course I won't invent a new machine which creates a new sens, this is a big step for the science as well. As I saw on my favorite site called TED.COM, so between the ted talks, Donald Hoffman scientist said
"Space as you perceive it is your desktop. Physical objects are just the icons in that

desktop."
It made me think. We are quite limited right.
After I saw this talks I looked for more and more and more I was really into senses.
New
machines, robots, the limit of being human or cyborg. At the same time
my limits and my character just drive me to my way and I'm still on it.
It stays more human, I think and more around our forgotten senses. So I
think an art work has to be more than visible.
- I've done the piece called Sand, with all the signs of life and it gives as well a bizarre presence. It's still visible but the point and result was more a feeling than the thing itself.
- I'm still working on the project AIR! which is a strict link to the main concept, it gives a presence with the movement of air.
- The project called Panique gives a strange felling throught a sound.

Sand
One of my previous work from 2016.
What you can see on the video is a solution for a bigger project. One way how I can imitate the walk on sand by the footprints in the sand.
The sand is a really interesting material. We can find it all over the world but it is never the same. The ingredients depends on the environment. It's always on the move, by the wind or by the water.
The work what I've done presents all the signs of the life. We move, we breath, we have our circulation on work. That's what we call the signs of the life. As you can see in the short video, it represents the walk. The steps are in the rhythm of the breath and the sand present of the circulation as well. It creates a presence of a human being with no body...
(I thought about our presence on earth as well, and in our closest environment, of course I know that our planet is in the desertification, but my interest is not here.)

Ailleurs
Back in time I was impressed by the fact that we can die before we die biologically. ( you can see as well my exam work below called: to be dead...)
It's about someone who's really closed in to his/her body. As all of us... but he or she cannot even speak maybe just to the inside. Illness ? maybe, dead? as far as I know we can be dead even if we're alive....
Panique!
A new project on the way!
/// Panique
Here I show you the details of the project. Long way to go till the end, but I'm really motivated!!!
So, what we can see in this presentation is basically a box. On the front with a door and on its back with a two way mirror. In it, there's another mirror in front of the other. So, as you could know the two way mirror is used, for example for the police. Its mirror on both sides, but it works in the way where more light is. So if we put a strong light in the box between the two mirrors (and in the room around their' smooth, light) we can see the reflection of the light with infinity.

The first part is like that behind the door, there's an infinity corridor.
And behind the door, there's a system with an electric motor and a movement detector. If someone comes close to the door the system starts to work. the motor moves a part that knocks on the door, but like the police!
In the space as I wrote I'll need smooth, light and the viewer has to arrive first to the front side.

life
life
-is so easy-
So, here's another project for life.
This video was born after my research on the changing of the state of matter.
How the liquid change to solid. Because the life in my opinion is something liquid and as the time passes it's coming to be solid which is a dead state.
The first thing came to my mind was the ice. But, my interest was to find a process that can present our short life period. So, I find a quite evident example, a fried egg. The egg as a symbol of life or even the possibility of life was just a wonderful match so I leave it quite simple in the video. No effects°, just the egg and a stone. For the nice lights thanks to our Sun.

to be dead...
For my exams
the end of third semester I've prepared a performance and an
installation. As you can see in the pictures there was an inside part
and an outsider.
In front of the university (front of the entrance) I've installed a
tent. Made out of bricks, lying on the ground and the original base of a two place tent. Inside the entrance there were three chairs for
the jury and three stools for us. So we were three. A girl from South
Korea, a guy from Martinique and me from Hungary. All three of us one
after the other told a story, spoke about their own country and so on...
It was about 15mins.
It was a special experience!
In details, we had some students passed by the door, even one in particular who arrived with a door of a car. People just came and stay for a bit and go on. So it was a real 3D performance. Installation, actual performance and the in situ part... the people (viewer) by chance.
All these things come together with one goal. I've work a lot around the question of the isolation or solitude. There's a definition of death: "when the creature is part of the world passively".
It made me think.
There's many ways to be dead.

It made me think.
There's many ways to be dead.
One and in my work the most important is, when we're passive. We can be passive in many ways as well, to not be on the social networks, it was a joke, but now days you're really not part of the active world if you are not up to date by the networks.
So we can be dead by not to be part socially of the work, we can be dead by not speaking or we can be dead if we're isolated from the others by an illness or just simply as a foreigner. The performance was about that.
The installation is about the same objective, but maybe in a more abstract way. A tent is a symbol for me. It is a building. It is a historical remains of our architecture. When we were nomad and so on... Now days we use it when we go (back) to the nature. After all, we use it as a "wall" around us, a protection. But, and here's the symbol, how fragile is a tent. Enough to have a heavy rain or strong wind can blow it away and so on... A building is just like that!
We create walls and we think by the walls we're in safe, but it is just an illusion!
So, this embryonic tent with its thin protection is a symbol. I've moved away this layer and I took bricks to the ground (brick that made walls) and I took them against the surface the more natural to contact the earth. It is a tent in a transformation; to be a building ? or ? It is a building in transformation to be a tent?
So I think if we're between walls we are dead.

We had a workshop with Joëlle GAY, Annie TOLLETER, Corine GIRIEUD and in the end we presented our work in the Musée Fabre in Montpellier.
AIR !
Mixed media
So, as it was told here's the first project with the AIR.
When I was in a busy train station I've closed my eyes and I've felt the space around me, and everything what's moving in it, 'cause the air.
So when I've the idea that I'll make things that are speak to us in another way, not just our eyes can see it and not just our ears can hear it, but I'll look for some possible ways to touch the viewer with my art work. I'm not scientist so I've some serious limits with it. As I can't find or create or just reactivate new sense of humans I've said that, I'll choose one that we don't use very often, but it still exists and we more feel with it in an abstract way. I mean, that we use it as an hidden quality control. We don't care about touch a much, but when it feels good in our hands or just on our skin we can tell that's a good stuff. Just as it opposite way when it's not that smooth it's awful. But our human world was made for speaks to us trough our eyes and ears most likely then our other senses.
Touch. In a way, we can say that all of our senses are touch. When the reflection of the light comes to our eyes the light (photons) touches our receptors in our eyes and we create a 3D world. When we hear things, the air touches our ear. When we taste or smell things there's always a contact between receptor and material.
Trough touch.
°it will be the next step to make one sculpture in the nature where the ventilation created by the wind
